Second day Summer College on traditional Korean cuisine

Today's lecture was about Nutrional balance and Korean Traditional Foodways. Bibimbab was introduced as both of these aspects are combined into one dish. More details will follow.
After that we had another lecture on Do they like what we like? Cross/cultural consumer acceptability for ethnic foods.
Kimchi Chronicles a TV-Show was presented by the professor and is an interesting topic that has some aspects of the subject in her studies about the increase of exposure to ethnic foods through international trade, immigration and travel. And in addition to that how the interests in healthier food also increases and what decisive role the Asian cuisine especially the Korean cuisine plays.
In the afternoon we had a field trip to Chang-kyung palace. Here are my impressions:
