Seoul Immigration Office

Our visit at the Seoul Immigration Office turned out to be not so bad.
Being warned of the long waiting time we went there very early and we were finished after about 1 hours. Still the SIO was packed with so many people mainly with chinese people as they are the largest number if immigrants in Seoul.
For the registration the passport, a photo and the certificate of enrollment of the University was needed. Also a fee of 10.000 KRW was charged (I think, 2 weeks are so long so my memory is already kind of bad so it might more or less hehe). So it was a little stressy because there were so many people rushing around oneself. Also doing this bureaucratic things especially as a foreigner it is even more complicated.
But today we only had to make the fingerprints and pick up our alien registration card. All in all it was a funny experience as we also got to know a new district in Seoul. And we look kind of scary on our the Alien registration card! 😅
On our two trips we ate at a chinese restaurant. The most known food is Jjajang-myun (blackbean sauce noodles with meat and vegetables) and Jjambbong (spicy seafood noodlesoup). The first dish is one of the most favourite dishes of Koreans especially kids love love it. Today we bought these dishes and Mandu (Korean dumplings) for take-away and went to the Hanriver spontaneously because is is very close to the SIO.
We had a wonderful view and a sunny delicious picnic. 😄
P.s. I got to make some changes on blog designed by *happykang. I hope you all like the style and will enjoy reading even more.
Here is also a short webanalalytic report: About 58 persons have already read my blog! Wow that is really amazing and makes me so happy. The demographic data reflects how international my relations had become since I am here. Mostly I have readers and friends from Germany (59.535%). But also from Brazil (7.695%), the US (3.68%), Taiwan, Korea, UK and Japan (>1%). Comment on June 15th, 2024: Before leaving for Seoul I managed SEO (Search Engine Optimization) for various websites at a publisher company in Hamburg which is why these webanalytic reports randomly popped up in my blog posts. 🤓
